About the School Education
Take your Abitur with a focus on economics.
Requirements for attending the vocational secondary school (BOS):
A completed vocational training in the field of economics and administration or at least five years of professional activity in the field of economics and administration.
In addition, for the registration for BOS12 (Fachhochschulreife):
The secondary education diploma with an average grade of at least 3.0 in the subjects of German, English, and Mathematics, and at least 3.3 across all subjects - OR a final grade in the vocational school certificate of at least 2.5.
In addition, for the registration for the BOS13 (Hochschulreife):
The Fachhochschulreife (approximately from BOS12) with an average grade of at least 3.0.
General information about the Berufsoberschule can be obtained from the Hamburger Institut für Berufliche Bildung (HIBB).

We will tell you here how you can acquire the Fachhochschulreife or the Allgemeine Hochschulreife by attending the Berufsoberschule (BOS 12 and BOS 13).

- Your examination certificate from the chamber (if already available)
- Your vocational school diploma (if already available) or the certificate of at least five years of full-time professional activity in the field of business and administration.
